Joana Pais is an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics of ISEG of Universidade de Lisboa. Her research interests include matching theory, market design, behavioral economics, and experimental economics. She obtained her Ph.D. in Economics at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2005. Currently, she is the coordinator of the Master in Economics of ISEG and a member of the board of the centre Research in Economics and Mathematics (REM).
